Taken at Fast Ashleys Studios in NYC
Sarah Kobos was born and raised in Columbia, SC where she very recently graduated Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a BFA in Art Studio with an emphasis in Photography and a minor in Art History. Sarah has always been incredibly drawn to the arts and found her niche in photography. She's never been able to put down the camera. Her love for photography continues to grow as she learns new and old processes and techniques that can make images come to life, be it through film or pixels. For most of her undergraduate career, she contributed and worked with local magazines. Sarah knew she wanted a career in the magazine field once she became Assistant Photo Editor at USC's magazine, Garnet & Black, at the end of her sophomore year. She just left the post of Photo Editor at G&B upon graduation. Sarah has interned at photo studios in New York City, where she learned more about the photography business, gained more experience, and fell in love with the city. She is currently living in Columbia where she is focusing on her own work and freelancing, but is on the prowl for opportunities to travel and move away and pursue her career even further and eventually go to grad school. Sarah has a promising future and the drive to make it happen.
